鹿児島の火山噴出物「シラス」とジャパンポーレックスの技術
シラスとは南九州に広く分布する白色の火山噴出物のことです。
約3万年前に鹿児島湾奥部にあたる「姶良カルデラ」から噴出した火山灰や軽石を主成分とする火砕流堆積物で、数10メートルから180メートルもの厚さで広範囲に分布しています。
マグマ起源の火山ガラスを主成分とした「シラス」を弊社独自の技術でちりばめて、ガラス質が最も美しく輝く条件を探しだして焼成しました。
手になじむしっとりとした質感です。

Kagoshima’s volcanic soil “Shirasu” and JAPAN PORLEX technology
Shirasu is a white volcanic soil in Southern Kyushu.
It is a pyroclastic flow deposit composed mainly of volcanic ash and pumice that erupted from the Aira Caldera in the inner part of Kagoshima Bay about 30,000 years ago.
Shirasu is widely distributed in the area of 10 to 180 meters in thickness.
Shirasu, composed mainly of volcanic glass sediment used in our original tableware inlaying technology, produces the best quality beautiful glass polished tableware products.
It feels comfortable on the touch due to the moisturizing texture.

  Layered with silicone at the bottom

  ・シリコーンは自社独自の高精度な密着技術によりはがれません。
  ・滑りにくく、テーブル台を傷つけません。
  ・カップ＆ソーサーはカップ底面にシリコーンで滑り止め加工をしているためソーサーにはくぼみがないデザインです。ソーサーはお皿としてもお使いいただけます。

  ・The silicone does not peel off due to our unique high-precision adhesion technology.
  ・It prevents slipping and scratching the table surface.
  ・The cup’s bottom is layered with anti-slip silicon; therefore, the saucer’s indentation is unnecessary. The saucer can be used as a plate.

  ・繊細な手仕事や経験に基づく技術が求められるため手作業の工程が多くあり、一つ一つ丁寧に作られています。

  ・Products are developed and produced in-house.
  ・Each product is carefully made with delicate handwork processes and techniques, requiring much experience.

  

・電子レンジ、食器洗い乾燥機を使用できます。
・底面はシリコーンを使用しているので、金属タワシ、ナイロンタワシ等研磨剤のついた タワシ等で強く洗わないでください。柔らかいスポンジ等を使って洗ってください。 シリコーンの特性上、爪や硬いもので引っかくと千切れることがありますのでご注意ください。
・自然由来の原料のため、弊社工場で同じ条件で製造をしても一つずつ製品の表情が異なります。
・1個箱はございません。

・It can be used in the microwave and washed in a dishwasher.
・Because of the layered silicone at the bottom, do not wash the product with abrasive metal or nylon scrubs. Wash the product gently with a soft sponge. The silicone may tear off if scratched with nails or other hard objects.
・Naturally derived raw materials may vary each product's appearance regardless of being produced under identical conditions and processing.
・ There is no single box.
